The Gray Family | Northwest Ohio Family Photographer

Warning: overshare of this session.  Once you get to the end images, you’ll understand why.  The light?  PERFECT.  The location?  PERFECT.  The family?  PERFECT.  I love these guys.  I’ve known Mom since 5th grade and I LOVE that I got to take these for her.  Her husband I’ve known since 4th grade.  He’s not too big on pictures, but  “we” talked him into it and I’m so happy.  He’s such a laid back, no-nonsense kind of guy, but with his kids he’s a big teddy bear and I loved seeing that!  They needed a family photo and I’m glad our weather delivered for them.  And though these are the shyest (I checked my spelling on that…because if you know me, that’s just how I roll – ha ha), Mom really got them giggling towards the end.  LOVE.

I hope they love them and want to hang them all over their walls, because I would.  I love their photos THAT much.

The ONLY thing I can think of that stinks?  The beautiful field was mowed down two days later.  I wanted to cry.  As another friend put it, “It should be a crime to mow down something that beautiful.”

This right below is so funny.  Their little one gets mad when Mom and Dad kiss.  That FACE though!  Ha!

The Miller Family | Northwest Ohio Family Photographer

It’s always such a great feeling when a family that has been coming to you since the beginning, calls to book again.  It really gives me that warm, fuzzy feeling.  Their youngest was one of my first newborn shoots ever, and it means so much that they stuck by me these past few years as I figured out my style and editing.  SO appreciated.  Needless to say, I love this family, and all the laughs we have at each session.

Clearly, we had a gorgeous night to take photos of one, gorgeous family.  They’re the best <3

Parker turns one! | Northwest Ohio Child Photographer

Oh my.  This kid though.  So. Stinking. CEEEUTE!

Our night was threatened with dark, stormy clouds.  Even while driving, I was poured on!  But Mom told me to still head that way and chance it.  I was heading out early the next morning for vacation and had this A-dorable cake, by Cherry Tree Bakery (Whitehouse, OH), and was concerned with freezing it for that long.  SO glad I listened to Mom.  The sun didn’t really make too much of an appearance, but Parker’s personality seriously saved the day.

Parker’s Mom and Dad met playing soccer, and had an awesome idea to have his cake smash in front of a soccer net.  I LOVE new ideas.  Like really LOVE them.  It was perfect.  In the end, the sun did try peeking through the clouds, and Parker had us all cracking up with his kisses and hugs to my little helper I had brought along, my daughter Emmah.  Such a fun session.
